Crude ethanolic extract of the leaves of Cardiospermum halicacabum was examined for its anticancer activity against Hepatocellular carcinoma cell line (Hep-G2) by MTT assay. The extract showed more than 80% inhibition of Hep-G2 cell line which was higher as compared to standard drug.
