Decalepis hamiltonii Wight & Arn. isan endangered shrub, the roots of which are used for medicinal purposes. Present study was undertaken to identify phytochemicals from its roots. The presence of almost all phyto-components were detected in methanolic extract of the roots. GC-MS analysis of methanolic extract, revealed tenphyto-compounds.
