Pea (Pisum sativum L) is one of the most important vegetable crops containing 18 -30% protein. After isolating edible part from the pods of pea large amount of solid waste is generated, which may cause environmental issues. The pea peel waste is available in large quantity as a solid waste material free of cost. Present investigation was undertaken to test its utility as a fish food by incorporating 5, 10, and 20% pea peel in the diet of Catla catla. The long-term dietary study showed weight gain in fishes fed with the product fortified with 20% pea peel. Simultaneous gain of the length of the fish was also observed, and the fishes remained healthy with 100% survival rate.
