Laboratory experiments were conducted to assess total polyphenol content of germinating seeds of Lentil, after treating them with aqueous leachates of Inflorescence (flower), leaves and root of C. Argentea. Treatment with root leachates caused slight enhancement in total polyphenol content in Lentil seedlings. However, inflorescence and leaf leachates showed Inhibitory effect.
