During the process of isolating soil fungi, serial dilution method was used along with Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA) medium. The fungi were identified on the basis of their morphological characteristics. Fourteen species of fungi were identified, among which the species belonging to Deuteromycotina, Zygomycotina and Ascomycotina contributed throughout the course of study.
