Taxonomical Revision on some Rust Fungi from India

In the present paper fifteen Teliomycetous Rust taxa belonging to eight genera viz. Aecidium (3 spp.), Coleosporium (1 spp.), Kernkampella (2 spp.), Puccinia (2 spp.), Ravenelia (3 spp.), Tranzschelia (1 spp.), Uredo (1 spp.) and Uromyces (2 spp.) have been taxonomically revised. Fourteen taxa were corrected and one new combination has been proposed. The revision on these taxa is partly based on the material received and partly on the rust-host relationships, due to non-availability of literature. Most of the revised taxa were taxonomically erroneous, and the authors made attempts for their perfect identities.
