Study of Role of Sacred Grooves in Conservation of Biodiversity of Amba from Kolhapur District, M. S. India

Amba is one of the hot spot for biodiversity from Western Ghat, Maharashtra.. It is home to semi-evergreen and evergreen vegetation. The Sacred groves present in this region are small forest with rich species diversity, which has been protected by the local people for their cultural and religious beliefs. The present study is concerned with sacred groves found in Amba forest.
