Present study was carried out to evaluate the effect of Azotobacter on the growth of green gram. In all, six different isolates of Azotobacter were obtained from the rhizosphere soil samples. Apot experiment was conducted to study effect of Azotobacter seed treatment on growth parameters of green gram. The results revealed that seed treatment with all the six isolates of Azotobacter significantly improved crop growth.
