Abstract

During present investigation phytochemical profile of Alysicarpus hamosus Edgew leaves was analysed by using High Resolution Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy (HRLC-MS) technique. Major compounds found in the ethanolic extract were Apiin, Avermectin, Tranexamic Acid and Harderoporphyrin. The medicinal properties of these compounds have also been discussed.
