Abstract

Alysicarpus gracilis Edgew. and A. bupleurifolius (L.) DC were compared on the basis of their morphological and phytochemical characters. Their analytical characters were compared for easy delimitation. Phytochemical compounds in ethanolic extracts of leaves from these taxa were analyzed by using Paper chromatography and HRLC-MS techniques. The results provided differences among these taxa, which will be an additional criteria for differentiation of these species.
