Banganga Project is built up on Banganga River, near Songiri in Bhoom Tehsil of Osmanabad District (MS). The study on algal flora of this water reservoir was carried out during present investigation to explore algal diversity. Present communication deals with the twelve phytoplankton species, observed at Banganga water reservoir.
