Myxomycetes of Pachmarhi hills (India) XIX: The genus Badhamia berk.

During the floristic study of the Myxomycetes author came across a myxomycetes species named. Badhamia gracilis (Macbr.) Macbr. The genus Badhamia is characterized by fructification, stalked or sessile sporangia, varying to plasmodiocarpous, Peridium thin, nearly limeless to heavily encrusted with lime. Capillitium a network of limy tubules, nodes little or not at all enlarged, sometimes with a few hyaline, limeless tubules, then approaching physaroid type. Stipe when present is an extension of hypothallus, or stout and well defined. Columella present or absent. Spore-mass black, free or in clusters. Present paper deals with the Nineteenth report in this series. The genus has been reported for the first time from Madhya Pradesh.
