Abstract

Present study was undertaken from Ahmedpur Taluka in Latur district (M.S.), It is well known fish production and marketing centre. Last two years, due to corona pandemic, during December 2019 to December 2021 small scale fisheries were badly affected. The small scale fisherman and fish farmers lost their daily wages activities. This showed the number of causes and their impacts on this sector. The unemployment of youth increased, and to develop the fisheries activity in this area, small scale development projects should be implemented and support should be given to them.
