The number of electrical and electronic equipment are rapidly increasing. Most of them are being worked for a short period and subsequently discarded, thus creating huge amount of E waste. Management and disposal of E waste is a big issue, as they contain lot of heavy metals and toxic substances. The present investigation was undertaken to evaluate composition of various metals in waste printed circuit boards (PCB) of television. It was inferred that PCB contained 10.54 % copper (Cu), 0.001 % zinc (Zn), 3.64% lead (Pb) and 0.001 Nickel (Ni).
