Short field tours to the forest localities of Jalgaon district during 2022-23 resulted into some noteworthy additions to the floristic wealth of the district as well as to Khandesh region of Maharashtra state. The authors collected five novel plant specimens e.g. Angolenia biflora Benth. (Plantaginaceae), Blumea Belangeriana DC. (Asteraceae), Lepidagathis subarmata (C.B.Cl.) Gamble (Acanthaceae), Malva parviflora L. (Malvaceae), and Zaleya pentandra (L.) Jaffrey (Aizoaceae). These specimens are reported for the first time from this region, which were collected, examined and identified.
