Abstract

An open cast coal mine, is situated in Chakbaranj village, Taluka Bhadrawati, District Chandrapur (M.S.) However, the manufacturing of coal causes pollution at the present nearby agricultural meadows, which possibly will adversely affect crop productivity. During extant study agricultural soil samples, from nearby regions of coal mine, were collected, and their physical and chemical characteristics were examined.
