The Western Ghats of Maharashtra, India, are renowned for their remarkable biodiversity and serve as a critical hotspot for avian diversity. Present study aims to investigate the diversity of bird species in the Western Ghats region of Maharashtra state, which is known for its ecological significance and biodiversity, providing a unique habitat for numerous bird species. The study involved extensive field surveys, identification of birds and collection of data during the years 2020- 2022.
