In recent years, investigations based on nanoparticles and nanotechnology-derived nanostructures is becoming popular. Nano-silver, Nano-gold, and nano-chitosan -based materials have demonstrated exigent characteristics particularly in biomedical applications. There is considerable potential for these materials' therapeutic medication and healthcare practices. Nanomaterials based on these materials have specific properties and are proven to have potential of forming novel agents having antimicrobial activity, targeted drug delivery, sensors, coatings, medical care, tissue restoration, regeneration materials, managing complex health problems, and therapeutic alternatives. As the golden history of potential applications of these nanomaterials biomedical-related areas speaks for itself. These three materials are relatively non-toxic and show great compatibility with various drugs and natural products, providing an alternative to conventional medicines and other healthcare procedures. Although these nanoparticles have similar antibacterial and other biomedical activities. The mechanism action is quite unique.
