The meliolaceous fungi commonly known as ‘black mildews’ are epiphytic parasites on broad range of host plants. Present investigation deals with an account of five Meliolaceous fungi collected from Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts of Maharashtra. Meliola aethiops var. moullavae on Moullava spicata; M. altissimae on Vitex altissima; M. cycleae on Cyclea peltata; M. petchii on Strychnos potatorum and M. ramosii on Homonoia riparia were found to be new to the state of Maharashtra.
