In India a sizable amount of the milk is used to make local dairy products like khoa and khoa-based sweets. Present investigation deals with the quality of khoa samples available in Nanded town of Maharashtra. For this purpose, 30 khoa samples were randomly collected from five popular areas of Nanded and analyzed. Those were examined for sensory quality as well as detection of adulteration with starch. There was a significant (P<0.05) difference for these parameters in the collected samples. The best-quality khoa was found in Anandnagar area of the town.
