Abstract

Present study was undertaken in the Baramati (M.S.). The water samples were collected during March to April 2023, from two sampling points namely Kara River and a pond water near Government Medical College, Baramati, in the morning from 6:00 - 9:00 A.M. The procedures for collecting, storing and analyzing water samples were as described in APHA (2005). The temperature was measured at a depth of 10 cm using a mercury thermometer. The pH, Electrical Conductivity, TDS and Salinity were measured with the help of Metler Toledo Probe (MX-300). The Dissolved oxygen, Total alkalinity, Total hardness and Chemical oxygen Demand were measured in laboratory by titrimetric method (APHA, 2005). The results obtained have been presented in Table 1.
