Alysicarpus scariosus Graham (family Fabaceae) was phytochemically analyzed to derive its additional characters. The ethanolic extract of the leaves obtained by Soxhlet's extraction method was analyzed by High Resonance Liquid Chromatography -Mass Spectrometry (HRLC-MS) technique. The phenolic compounds were analyzed by Paper Chromatography. The phytochemical characters investigated during present study can be employed to delimit the species.
