Abstract

Cyamopsis tetragonoloba, is a drought resistant plant. Fifteen isolates of plant growth promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) were evaluated for their effect on various traits and plant growth. Two promising isolates were identified as Acinetobacter pittii (IS-05) and Rhizobium leguminosarum (IS-22), and characterized for their properties.
