This study deals with inorganic elements in the leaves of Pentatropis nivalis (J.F. Gmel.) D.V. Field & J.R.I. Wood, along with its seasonal variation. These elements involve Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Chloride, Potassium, Iron, Manganese, Zinc and Copper which were analysed with the help of Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS). The leaves collected from four sites showed variation in the contents of the elements. The leaves from Songaon sites accumulated high Na+ and Cl-. Present study providing the valuable information on plant's response to salinity stress.
