Present study deals with the discharges generated from Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) at Patalganga estuary, situated in the Sahyadri Hills of Western Ghats. It was observed that the physicochemical characteristics of nearby water sources were influenced by the effluent discharges showing temporal and spatial fluctuations.
