This paper represents the ethnomedicinal plants which are used to cure diabetes by the tea tribe people in Doom Dooma, located in the Tinsukia district of Assam. For this purpose, the field work was carried out from June to December 2023 in the tea garden areas of Doom Dooma. During this period, 30 plant species from 24 families were collected and identified. Of these, 33.33% were herbs, 36.66% were trees, 20% were shrubs, and 10% were climbers. Ethnomedicinal data was obtained through interviews with 63 informants aged between 30 and 80 years. The study provides a list of the plants including their scientific names, families, local names, habits, parts used, and mode of uses.
