Submerged and solid state fermentation for pectinase production

Abstract

During present study isolates of Staphylococcus spp. and Aspergillus spp. were screened, which showed property of producing pectinase using rotten fruit pulp and peel. The strains displayed highest pectinase activity during submerged fermentation, at pH 7.5 and temperature 30°C.
