Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to examine biochemical profile in the various tissues of Barytelphusa cunicularis exposed to sub lethal concentration of mercuric chloride (HgCl2) @ 0.208 and 0.104 ppm for 7, 10 and 15 days. The results obtained indicated significant (P <0.05) decrease in protein, lipid and glycogen in mercuric chloride treated crab as compared to control.
