Abstract

Physicochemical parameters of water samples from Bhandardhara dam and Mula dam in Ahilyanagar district, Maharashtra, were collected in the (pre-monsoon) May and (Post-monsoon) November seasons of 2024. Parameters like pH, TDS, free CO2, alkalinity, chlorides, total Hardness, calcium, magnesium, dissolved oxygen, BOD, and COD were analysed and compared with the standard values recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO). The results indicated variations in these parameters between the two dams.
