Effect of 1-butyl-3 methylimidazolium hydroxide [bmim] On lipid peroxigation in liver and pancreas of mice

Abstract

Effect of oral administration of 1-Butyl-3-methylimidazolium Hydroxide [Bmim]OH on lipid peroxidation in hepatic and pancreatic cells of mice was investigated. For this purpose the experimental mice were treated with [Bmim]OH. for 12 or 24 hrs. It significantly affected Malondialdehyde (MDA) levels in the liver and pancreas of mice.
