Abstract

The imagery data, taken from Lancet 8 Oli sensor and Lancet 9 for 2017 and 2022, were processed for vegetation cover, using normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI)., with the help of ArcGIS software the value of NDVI ranged from -0.12 to 0.52 for the year 2017, and for the year 2022, it was -0.15 to 0.51. From the results, it was concluded that major part of the study area displayed fairly good vegetation cover in both of the years. The overall vegetation cover in Kheda district was dense forest, crop-vegetation, irrigated agriculture land, and agriculture fellow land.
