Abstract

An experiment was conducted to study the effect of trash mulching on yield and quality of suru sugarcane at Agronomy Farm in BV’s Loknete Mohanrao Kadam College of Agriculture, Kadegaon dist.-Sangli during 2021-22. It was observed that the number of millable canes and cane as well as sugar yields were significantly influenced due to trash application and use of decomposing culture. However, trash application and decomposing failed to show any remarkable effect on juice quality of sugarcane.
