Present study was undertaken to observe the impact of lehtal concentration of benzoic acid on behavioral pattern in land slug (Semperula maculata). During 24 to 96 hours of exposure, behavioral pattern among mollusks were recorded, which included, courtship, self-defense, mucus secretion, and lenticular movements. S. maculata was thus found to be more susceptible to benzoic acid. Furthermore, it proved to be a bio-indicator for evaluating environmental quality.
