Abstract

Present investigation deals with studies on physicochemical parameters of water samples collected from Lonimavala and Tikhol dams located in Ahilyanagar district of Maharashtra. The samples were collected in the months of January, April, and July 2024, and analysed for. pH, TDS, Free CO2, Alkalinity, Chlorides, Total Hardness, Calcium Hardness, Magnesium hardness, dissolved oxygen, BOD and COD. Marked variation in physico-chemical parameters of dam water was observed.
