The concept of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming popular in pollution control as it improves the ability to monitor and anticipate environmental pollutants and mitigate them at a proper time. The review presented in this paper gives an account on the application of AI in the field of air, water, and soil pollution. The techniques of machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), sensor fusion, and predictive modelling have been introduced in this paper. The paper suggests several recommendations regarding incorporation of AI.in sustainable pollution management.
