Present work was carried out to study the effect of some organic fertilizers such as cow dung, cow urine and their mixture and inorganic fertilizers like DAP (Di-ammonium phosphate), urea and their mixture on seedling growth of Vigna radiata L. Different concentrations viz. 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, 2% of these organic and inorganic fertilizers were used. Vigna radiata seeds were treated with these fertilizers. Maximum seedling growth was observed due to the treatment with organic fertilizers. Higher growth rate of the seedling was recorded due to the treatment with 2 % organic fertilizers. Further analysis showed that enhancement in root and shoots length was observed with increase in the concentration of fertilizers.
