Abstract

Present paper deals with a new plant species recorded as an addition to Angiospermic flora of Marathwada region, Maharashtra state, along with its detail description. During regular exploration of the study area, samples of Physalis pruinosa L. belonging to family Solanaceae were collected. Careful observation and critical review of the literature it was available found to be new to the flora of Marathwada region.
