Abstract

Alternaria leaf spot affect cotton crop leading to yield loss. Present investigation deals with its management study using biocontrol agents and organic inputs under in-vitro condition. All of them showed inhibitory effect on mycelial growth of the pathogens. Among them Trichoderma harzianum was highly antagonistic followed by T. asperellum. Cow urine at 20 % concentration showed inhibition of mycelial growth. The results indicated antagonistic potential of Trichodermaharzianum and cow urine and suggested their suitability for managing leaf blight disease in cotton.
