Aeromycological studies on wheat field from Karad region was carried out from Nov. 2007 to Feb. 2008. During this investigation, 56 types of biocomponents were reported out of which 52 were of fungi. Hyphal fragments, pollen grains, Insect scales and unidentified spores were also reported. The spores of Nigrospora, Alternaria, Curvularia, Cladosporium, Torula, Pithomyces, Epicoccum, Helminthosporium and Smut were common in occurrence.
