Rhizosphere and soil mycoflora of Sorghum (Sorghum vulgare Pers.) and tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) was studied at seedling, vegetative and flowering stages during rabi season of 2006. A total of 36 fungal species belonging to 8 genera were isolated. Rhizosphere mycoflora was dominated soil mycoflora with Aspergillus, Penicillium, Curvularia, Drechslera, Fusarium and Trichoderma. Occurrence of rhizosphere fungi at different growth stages of crop plants was observed.
