A check list of tape worms in marine fishes from West coast of Maharashtra State, India.

Abstract

The preliminary survey was carried out to understand tapeworm diversity of marine fishes of West coast of Maharashtra State, from July 2007–June 2008. Twenty seven species were collected and identified; they belong to eight genera Le. Cephalobothrium (4 species) Calycobothrium, Tylocephalum (3), Uncibilocularis (3), Tetragonocephalum (6), Phoreiobothrium (4), Balanobothrium (3), and Hexacanalis (3).
