Abstract

Effect of organophosphorus pesticide (Methylparathion) on activity of enzyme catalase has been studied in germinating seeds of vegetables viz. bean, okra, guar and onion. Enhancement in the activity of catalase was noticed in bean and onion while inhibition in okra and no consistency in guar was observed.
