Abstract

Present paper deals with germination of the seeds of Pedalium murex L. The seed germination was effective from 6 months storage period up to 28 months. The seeds nicked with nail cutter showed increased seed germination. The optimum seed germination was observed at 30°C. The diffused light favoured seed germination. However there was no seed germination when the seeds were treated with sulphuric acid.
