Abstract

There was variation in MIC of carbendazim among the 12 isolates of Sclerotium rolfsii on the agar plates and rhizomes of turmeric. MIC on agar plates ranged from 8 to 2400 μg/ml while 1 to 200 μg/ml on turmeric rhizomes. Isolate SR-4 was sensitive. The resistant isolate SR-5 showed 2400 and 200 μg/ml MIC in vitro and in vivo respectively.
