The present fossil is unilocular drupaceous. It is globose and without stalk, compressed, single seeded, unilocular, oval in shape and indehiscent. Fruit wall consists of conspicuous air cavities of various dimensions. The fruit is beaked with small opening at the beaked portion. The fruit show similarities with Scaevola (Goodeniaceae), hence the name as Scaevolacarpon indicum.
