A field experiment comprising of Soybean (Glycine max)- Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor) cropping sequence was conducted during 1999–2001 with 3 P2O5 levels and 6 phases of its application at Parbhani. Application of 60 kg P2O5\ha was found optimum. For sustainable crop yield, application of phosphorus every year was found to be essential.
