The effect of triacontanol seed pretreatment on growth and yield of groundnut c.v. JL-24 (Phule Pragati) was investigated. The results obtained on number of branches and leaves per plant, and dry matter production (DM) indicated positive influence of seed priming on vegetative growth. The seed pretreatment was found to prepone flowering and increase pod yield.
