Abstract

The fungal pathogens of pomegranate fruits were identified as Alternaria alternata fr. Keissler and Curvularia lunata (Wakk.) Boedijn. Growth and abundant sporulation of A.alternata was observed on Sabouraud's dextrose agar while that of C.lunata on Richard's agar media. Propiconazole inhibited growth and sporulation of both fungi.
