Effect of Azotobacter on maize was observed along with nitrogen fertilizer application. Azotobacter along with nitrogen (N) significantly increased height of the plant, number of leaves, and nitrogen content in fresh/dry weight of plants. Both of the treatments significantly increased fodder productivity, however, the combined effect of bio- as well as chemical fertilizer was more pronounced.
