The present paper deals with the study of Industrial waste water of MIDC area, Nagpur during winter season of 2008–2009. The electrical conductivity ranged from 660 to 4301μ mho per cm, dissolved oxygen from 2 to 34.8 mg per litre, free CO2 from 199 to 939 mg per litre, chloride from 20.99 to 219.93 mg per litre and phosphate from 1.6 to 6.0 mg per litre. Chlorides and phosphates were found to be comparatively higher than those recommended for drinking water.
